Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging tech (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and finance teams
- Develop competitive frameworks and disruption mitigation strategies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with startups, universities, and research labs
- Measure impact through KPIs like market share growth and tech adoption rates
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, IoT, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Exceptional data storytelling with Power BI/Tableau
- Strong executive presence and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- PMP or similar strategic certification preferred
