Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmap development for emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, spatial computing)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs worldwide
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ technology domains
- Present technology strategies to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-driven resource allocation
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future technology implications
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least 3 of these domains: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, AGI safety, or synthetic biology
- Experience developing 10-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Prior publications in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Strong network connections with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation bodies
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical executives
- Fluency in Mandarin or German preferred for global partnerships
