Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping disruptive solutions (quantum AI, neural interfaces, decentralized systems)
- Analyze emerging tech patents, academic research, and geopolitical shifts to identify strategic opportunities
- Present technology forecasts and innovation frameworks to C-suite stakeholders and investors
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for cutting-edge R&D
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption and ROI of future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology roles
- Expertise in at least three future-tech domains: quantum computing, AGI development, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations with $50M+ impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and market trend analysis methodologies
- Experience securing government grants or venture capital for experimental projects
