Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ innovations across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps aligning emerging technologies with business objectives
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property protection for novel innovations
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous innovation
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching successful tech products or innovations
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in market sizing and scenario planning
- Strong communication abilities for presenting complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with agile development methodologies and prototyping tools
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technology fields
