Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to inform strategic roadmaps for 2026+
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions with industry partners
- Develop future-proof governance frameworks for responsible AI and autonomous systems
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive innovation through competitive analysis and market disruption modeling
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation for experimental technologies
- Publish thought leadership on future tech implications for business and society
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record leading large-scale tech transformation projects
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and long-term forecasting methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management skills across C-suite, engineering, and external partners
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
