- Establish strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 tech firms and academic institutions
- Monitor emerging tech trends (biotech, nanotech, AGI) for competitive advantage
- Present quarterly innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board of directors
- Mentor junior strategists in future technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Proven track record securing $50M+ in R&D funding
- Published research in AI ethics or quantum computing (IEEE/ACM)
- Expertise in technology lifecycle management and innovation frameworks
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis tools
- Strong network with DARPA, NASA, or national lab leadership
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent strategic foresight certification
