Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Design and validate proof-of-concept projects for next-gen innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build and manage a global network of technology partners and research institutions
- Author forward-looking whitepapers on industry disruption and future trends
- Mentor cross-functional teams in emerging technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in future technologies (patents, journals, conferences)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M annually
