As a cornerstone of our Austin-based innovation hub, you'll lead cross-functional teams to develop roadmaps for emerging tech domains including quantum computing, advanced AI, and sustainable tech systems. You'll collaborate with industry pioneers and drive initiatives that position InnovateNext as a global leader in forward-thinking technology deployment.
Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies with 2026+ implementation horizons
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and carbon-negative tech
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech innovation with business growth targets
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems for pilot projects
- Present future tech frameworks to stakeholders and industry conferences
- Build and mentor a team of 5+ futurist researchers and prototype engineers
- Drive patent development for breakthrough technologies in sustainability and human-AI collaboration
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500/SaaS experience
- Proven track record scaling disruptive technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or green tech
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier publications
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and tech forecasting frameworks
- Strong network connections with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation bodies
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP)
