Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial viability and integration opportunities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives, from ideation to prototype development and market testing
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and maintain partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts to identify strategic advantages and risks
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists while fostering a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching at least two commercialized products from emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with a focus on innovation management
- Certifications in technology forecasting (e.g., Gartner, Forrester) or strategic planning (e.g., PMP)
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in market analysis tools and predictive modeling
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing C-suite executives and board members
- Deep understanding of US tech regulatory landscape (e.g., FCC, FDA, FTC implications)
