Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities in Web4, metaverse ecosystems, and autonomous systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype future-proof solutions using agile methodologies
- Present strategic vision to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario modeling
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and measure ROI of futuristic technology investments
- Build strategic partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry thought leaders
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and emerging tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record developing long-term roadmaps for transformative technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future domains: quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech, or decentralized systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex scenarios and assess risks/opportunities
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and board members
- MSc/MBA in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major tech publications
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (preferred)
