Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and business objectives
- Identify and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, decentralized AI) with commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and disruption scenarios to C-suite and investors
- Drive ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and responsible innovation
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused prototyping initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 8+ years in strategic technology roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum)
- Deep expertise in future forecasting methodologies and horizon scanning
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous technology transitions
- Prior work with venture capital or corporate innovation labs preferred
- Certification in technology strategy (e.g., TOGAF, CTO Academy) a plus
