Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology adoption strategy, anticipating market shifts and regulatory impacts
- Lead cross-functional sprints integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and decentralized systems
- Build strategic partnerships with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, and EU Horizon Europe initiatives
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and board members with data-driven ROI projections
- Mentor a team of 5-8 technologists in emerging fields like synthetic biology and quantum machine learning
- Author quarterly white papers on technology disruption vectors for industry publications
- Oversee $2M+ annual R&D budget allocation across future-tech verticals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record scaling technologies from concept to enterprise deployment
- MBA or MS in Computer Science/Engineering with specialization in future technologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing architectures and NIS2 compliance frameworks
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals on disruptive technologies
- Security clearance (active or ability to obtain) for federal projects
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation platforms (Qiskit, Cirq)
