Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Lead emerging technology assessments (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing) for commercial viability
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech innovations into core offerings
- Establish KPI frameworks measuring ROI of experimental technology investments
- Present strategic briefings to stakeholders and industry thought leadership forums
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with rigorous ROI tracking
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching 3+ enterprise-scale future-tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (IEEE, ACM, or equivalent)
- Experience with scenario planning and disruption modeling frameworks
- Strong executive communication skills with Fortune 500 exposure
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
