Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum-resistant cryptography and biocompatible interfaces
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with MIT Media Lab, NASA JPL, and Stanford's AI Institute partnerships
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations in autonomous systems and climate-positive tech
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and federal technology councils
- Manage $10M+ R&D budgets with ROI-focused KPIs
- Mentor PhD fellows in our Future Tech Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years in R&D leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough tech (3+ successful launches)
- Expertise in quantum computing architectures and neuromorphic systems
- Clearance for federal technology initiatives (or ability to obtain)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Experience with ISO 21434 cybersecurity frameworks for next-gen systems
