Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research and evaluation of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and executive teams to integrate future technologies into product roadmaps
- Deliver strategic technology forecasts and competitive analysis for executive leadership
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs to access cutting-edge innovations
- Present technology insights and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor technical teams in emerging technologies and foster an innovation culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product development with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven experience forecasting technology trends and translating them into business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, sustainable tech, or biotechnology
- Strong analytical skills with ability to assess technical feasibility and market potential
- Executive presence with excellent communication skills for presenting complex concepts
- Track record of launching innovative products or solutions in competitive markets
- Certification in technology management or strategic foresight (e.g., CTO, CFRO) preferred
