Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential by 2026
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and competitive landscape
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technical feasibility with business viability
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in technology strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology analysis and roadmap development
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and strategic communication skills
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from Foresight Practitioners Network)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Portfolio demonstrating past strategic technology initiatives
