Responsibilities
- Lead research and assessment of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption timelines
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into customer-facing solutions
- Present compelling technology briefings to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and ROI measurement frameworks
- Build and manage a global network of innovation partners, startups, and academic institutions
- Anticipate ethical implications and regulatory challenges of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching technology-driven products/services with $10M+ revenue impact
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical, business, and executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futurism
