Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and innovation initiatives spanning 2024-2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology priorities
- Conduct competitive analysis and market positioning for next-gen tech solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage innovation budgets and ROI projections for future technology portfolios
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, or synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
