Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, quantum systems, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions with industry partners
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Secure strategic partnerships with research institutions and Fortune 500 innovation labs
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite executives and investor stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Drive patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies with legal teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ years in future technologies or innovation leadership
- Proven track record launching commercialized products from R&D (2+ case studies required)
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or climate tech
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with futures methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Strong network with academic and industry innovation leaders
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in innovation management or technology strategy preferred
