- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale next-gen solutions in regulated industries
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with global sustainability and digital transformation goals
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets through compelling ROI projections and stakeholder alignment
- Establish industry partnerships with academia and tech pioneers to co-create future standards
- Report directly to the Chief Innovation Officer on technology adoption risks and breakthrough potentials
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting or venture capital
- Proven track record launching commercialized products from futuristic R&D pipelines
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging tech (FDA, FCC, EU AI Act)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Exceptional presentation skills for C-suite and board-level audiences
