Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging technologies with disruptive potential through 2026
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct deep-dive research on frontier technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, bio-integrated systems)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate strategic insights into viable product prototypes
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess regulatory implications for future innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or venture capital with proven future-tech focus
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, advanced materials)
- Demonstrated success in launching tech-forward products or ventures post-2020
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Portfolio published in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.) or equivalent industry authority
- Proficiency in strategic forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
