Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmap focusing on quantum, AI, and sustainable innovation
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Conduct horizon scanning and technology impact assessments
- Develop patent strategies for emerging technology domains
- Mentor junior researchers in future-thinking methodologies
- Present technology vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology leadership with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or biotech integration
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
