Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry projections and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Architect innovation frameworks for AI ethics, decentralized systems, and sustainable tech integration
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and C-level executives quarterly
- Manage a $10M innovation portfolio with P&L responsibility
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for collaborative R&D
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of 2026 tech trends: AGI, climate tech, spatial computing, and biotech convergence
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., PDMA, CPSI) or equivalent experience
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
