Responsibilities
- Lead research and adoption of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) for 2026 product roadmap
- Develop strategic partnerships with startups, academia, and research institutions
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence in emerging tech sectors
- Present technology recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and manage a cross-functional innovation incubation program
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
- Oversee technology ethics frameworks and responsible innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology, AR/VR ecosystems
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech innovation circles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience building technology ethics governance frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
