Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ innovations across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies through rapid experimentation cycles
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify disruptive opportunities
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology strategies and investment proposals to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists and junior strategists
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory developments affecting future technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management with demonstrated impact on future-focused initiatives
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record in developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing innovation budgets over $5M
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, research institutions, Fortune 500 tech divisions)
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
