Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) with 3-5 year impact projections
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Establish KPI frameworks for emerging technology adoption and ROI measurement
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with quarterly portfolio reviews
- Build and lead a specialized Future Technologies task force
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or neurotech
- Strong data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Certified in emerging technology frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation journals
