Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, biotech integration, and decentralized AI systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities in the 2026 technology horizon
- Secure and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, tech talks, and internal R&D initiatives
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 disruptive technologies or products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or biotech convergence
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Experience securing venture capital or corporate innovation funding
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or major industry conferences
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech innovation ecosystems
