What You'll Do:
You'll lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence), develop implementation roadmaps, and collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation with business objectives. Your insights will directly shape our $500M R&D portfolio and position us as industry pioneers.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2026-2030 horizon) and develop strategic adoption frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions and tech pioneers
- Quantify ROI potential for experimental technologies and secure funding
- Develop competitive intelligence and disruption mitigation strategies
- Mentor innovation teams in agile development for cutting-edge projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and technology forecasting
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic impact on tech adoption
- Published thought leadership in technology journals
