Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized AI
- Partner with VPs of Product to commercialize emerging technologies
- Build and mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and strategic partnerships
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy shifts affecting 2026 adoption timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching commercialized AI or quantum products
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience scaling tech teams from 5 to 50+ members
- Deep understanding of Web3, neuromorphic computing, and climate-tech
- Clearance for government tech initiatives (TS/SCI a plus)
