Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 3-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging tech solutions (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Develop financial models and ROI projections for future tech initiatives
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on tech evolution trajectories
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation strategy team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, or biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Expertise in futures methodology, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Strong financial modeling skills with experience in tech investment valuation
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience scaling innovation programs from concept to market leadership
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) highly valued
