Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026 technological breakthroughs
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech) for commercial viability
- Develop patentable solutions for future-facing challenges in AI ethics and autonomous systems
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior researchers in cutting-edge methodologies and future-proofing techniques
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through white papers and investor presentations
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on 5-year innovation horizons
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (3+ launches)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or carbon capture tech
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) or equivalent patents
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with 10-year roadmap development experience
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and simulation environments (Unity/Unreal preferred)
- Public speaking experience at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES)
