Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives for emerging tech including quantum computing, AI ethics, and neuro interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ commercialization potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation budgets and resource allocation for experimental projects
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing product architectures
- Represent company at global tech summits and industry symposiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching products based on future trends (2019-2025)
- Expertise in at least three of: AI governance, biotech integration, sustainable tech, or space commercialization
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and investors
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Fluency in English with additional language preferred for global outreach
