Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, Web3, etc.)
- Develop and maintain 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business growth objectives
- Drive cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and market positioning for emerging technology domains
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for technology adoption initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage vendor partnerships and ecosystem development for emerging tech solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused technology initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy (preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Strong executive presence and experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Experience building and leading cross-functional innovation teams
