Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap with 3-5 year strategic vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for market disruption potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment and autonomous systems
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to executive stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor ecosystem for prototyping
- Represent company at global tech summits and standards bodies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record leading quantum computing or AI commercialization projects
- Expertise in futures methodology (horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Technology Reviews
- Deep familiarity with Web3.0, neuromorphic computing, and climate tech
- Exceptional stakeholder management across C-suite and board levels
