Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruption
- Lead R&D initiatives for quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption curves
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Manage innovation portfolios with $5M+ annual budget allocation
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and industry forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services (2018-2023)
- Expertise in exponential technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Experience scaling teams in high-growth tech environments
