Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging tech solutions
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate tech talent pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in agile development and product lifecycle management
- Certification in AI, blockchain, or quantum computing preferred
- Experience scaling tech operations in high-growth environments
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning skills
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized innovations
