Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations with 3-5 year impact
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships and grant applications
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Mentor a team of 15+ PhD-level researchers and engineers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy at Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Proven track record launching 3+ breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least 2 emerging domains: AGI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Published author in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global partnerships
