Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) to identify strategic opportunities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives bridging R&D, product development, and customer experience teams
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech adoption
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators to accelerate innovation
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting global technology ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record developing long-term tech roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in at least two emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR, or biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Professional, CTO Academy)
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
