Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market readiness
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business growth objectives and industry trends
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and product managers to prototype and validate future solutions
- Present strategic technology insights to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Define KPIs and success metrics for technology initiatives, measuring ROI and competitive advantage
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Technology with 8+ years of strategic tech planning experience
- Proven track record of launching successful technology initiatives with measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong executive presence and experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Certification in technology strategy (e.g., TOGAF, CISM) or MBA preferred
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M and leading cross-functional teams of 15+
