Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and automation systems
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into commercial offerings
- Present strategic technology insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage R&D portfolio allocation for future-focused initiatives
- Author thought leadership on emerging tech trends and their societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Certification in technology innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CTO School)
