- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and market trend forecasting in emerging tech sectors
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Oversee technology budget allocation for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in scaling tech roadmaps through 2020-2025 cycles
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Certification in technology strategy (e.g., CTO Academy, TOGAF)
- Experience managing $5M+ innovation budgets
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder management
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism
