Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI ethics, quantum applications)
- Conduct horizon-scanning for disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Drive adoption of emerging frameworks (Web3, neurotech, climate AI)
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Maintain ecosystem partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Stanford HAI, and NASA JPL
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Business
- Proven track record scaling technologies to $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging tech adoption frameworks (Gartner Hype Cycle, Toffler's Future Shock)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE/ACM journals or equivalent
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or corporate innovation funding
- Certified in AI Ethics (IEEE 7000) and Agile Portfolio Management
