Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and organizational goals
- Identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, sustainable systems) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and product managers
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year horizons
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to maintain first-mover advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of launching products/services based on future-tech trends
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technology adoption curves
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
