Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives

- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and assess commercial viability
- Architect ethical AI governance systems and responsible innovation protocols
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Present visionary concepts to investors and government technology councils
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for experimental technology incubation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in developing 5+ year technology strategy roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) or equivalent industry impact
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D grants from NSF or DARPA
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
