Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligned with market evolution and societal trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AI, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and regulatory compliance pathways
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and venture capital firms
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record in scaling futuristic solutions from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, neurotech, or climate-tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience leading R&D teams with $50M+ budgets
- Deep understanding of global regulatory landscapes for emerging tech
