Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026-2030 market trends
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Present technology strategy recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage relationships with academic institutions, startups, and R consortia
- Oversee cross-functional implementation of pilot projects for emerging technologies
- Author thought leadership reports and industry white papers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or venture capital
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of identifying and scaling emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two frontier tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Published author or frequent speaker at tech conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Fluency in data analysis tools and strategic foresight methodologies
