Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026+ market disruption
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary breakthrough technologies
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory impacts on tech deployment
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or platforms
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum systems, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
