Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption vectors
- Conduct scenario planning for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech adoption
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions (IoT 4.0, neural interfaces, carbon-negative tech)
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology ROI and innovation maturity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Proven track record of scaling technology adoption in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Horizon Scanning preferred
- Published research in IEEE, Nature Futures, or similar journals
- Experience with patent strategy and IP commercialization for emerging tech
- MBA or Master's in Technology Innovation (PhD preferred)
