Responsibilities
- Research and forecast emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3) with 3-5 year impact analysis
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 business objectives
- Lead strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Design and pilot proof-of-concept projects for disruptive innovations
- Present technology vision and recommendations to executive leadership and board
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory implications
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies at scale
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, etc.)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
