Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Architect strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to the board of directors
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging tech including quantum, neuromorphic computing, and spatial web
- Establish governance frameworks for AI/ML ethics and responsible innovation
- Drive adoption of sustainable technology practices across product lifecycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain, spatial computing)
- Proven track record of executing technology transformation projects
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
